Scrapping on a Budget

Scrapping on a budget can be as easy as 1... 2... 3... Look around your house, garage, or even outside your window. You will be able to find many items to use with your scrapbooking that you might not of thought about before.

Each month we will take a walk through one room to see what we can find. Please add to the list in the comments if you can think of anything that would work.

This month's room is the kitchen. Some ideas for scrapping on a budget from the kitchen:
  • plates and bowls, glasses and cups, & cans - for tracing
  • cookie cutters - for tracing, for stamping
  • silverware - for stamping, for painting
  • lunch bags - for paper bag album
  • toothpicks - for quilling, for gluing, for altering
  • old cookbooks - for altering, for getting recipes for recipe album
  • dish rags and scouring pads - for stamping
  • dish soap and food coloring - to make bubbles for a page background
  • food boxes - for creating your own chipboard & album covers
  • straws - for stamping, for painting
  • potatoes, celery, pasta - for stamping
  • paper towels and napkins - for cleaning, for stamping, for painting
  • aluminum foil and wax paper - for stamping, for painting
  • leftover tiles - for altering
  • salt/pepper shaker - for storing glitter, etc., for stamping
