Sunday Scrappin' #9

6 creative thoughts

This week I got lots of scrapbooking done. I am so excited with all that I accomplished.

Ta Da:
Christmas Thank You Cards - 14
Thank You Cards - 11
Birthday Cards - 4
12x12 Layouts - 4
8.5x11 Layouts - 2 (above)

The layout is about my daughter and her friend, Amy, who was her big sister from the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

Unfortunately, my scanner quit so am working on fixing it myself this week.

To Do:
I would like to get more layouts completed this week. I am afraid to put a number as a goal because if I don't accomplish my exact goal then I feel bad.

Challenge:
A Sweet Treat. Maybe you'll make a treat box, maybe you'll scrap a favorite dessert recipe, or maybe you'll scrap a layout of your favorite sweet people.

My Answer:
I scrapbooked my children this week, one layout is above, so I did meet the challenge.

Come join other paper crafters and scrapbookers at Sunday Scrappin'. Let's encourage each other to enjoy our hobby!

My list covers the past two weeks since I forgot to post last Sunday.

Daily Scrapbooking Goals

2 creative thoughts
Sunday
Paper Shuffle Day
Do the paper shuffle. This takes just 15 minutes! This will put away some of those papers you have lying out and it only takes a short time. You don't have to do ALL of the papers. Use a timer and do 15 minutes of putting away paper. Do it now!

Monday
File the Photos Day
We all have photos sitting around that need to be filed. Grab that stack of photographs and get them into the right place. Label as needed. We don't want our precious photos sitting around gathering dust.

Tuesday
Clear the Desktop/Table Day
Rescue your desktop by clearing that clutter. Put away items that need to find their homes. This challenge will take only 10-15 minutes. Leaving items out on the desktop makes it look messy. Oftentimes, a messy desk produces messy work. Put away your tools and clutter unless they are for the immediate page you are working on.

Wednesday
Anti-Procrastination Day

Thursday
Finish It Day
Do you have pages almost completed? Today is the day to finish it! Many of us put off the journaling... so go get busy and journal on those pages. A few pages of journaling won't take long, and yet you can count them as being completed and add these to your monthly page total. Complete the layout, put it in your album, and give yourself a pat on the back for getting it done. You have no journaling to do? Then finish a swap, a paper-piecing, or making page kits, etc. Finish It Today!

Friday
Floor Finish Day
What does your floor look like today? I am talking about the floor in your scrapbooking area. Floors have a habit of attracting tiny bits of paper snips, wrappers, eyelets, string, and misc. supplies as you work. Today's task is to clean that floor: pick up those papers, get rid of the trash bits, and sweep the floor.

Saturday
Toss the Trash Day
Need a simple challenge? Get a trash can -- one you like or one you've decorated -- and set the trash can right next to where you make the mess. Empty that trash can EACH WEEK! No more pop cans drawing ants, no more old snack wrappers (I know you LOVE chocolate!), or no more paper snippets stuck with adhesive. Take it out and dump it. Wipe it out with a paper towel or baby wipe. Line it with a trash liner/garbage bag. It will make you feel better and more in control.
